Some days you want to make art with a purpose.
Other days, you just want to draw… just because.
This list isn’t about getting better, finishing anything, or making something “good.” It’s about showing up with a pen, a pencil, or whatever’s nearby, and letting your brain wander for a few minutes each day.
These Just Because Drawing Challenges are meant to be simple, a little weird, and sometimes unexpectedly thoughtful. You don’t need special tools or extra time. Set a timer, follow the prompt, and see what happens. No erasing. No pressure. No rules beyond the one you’re choosing to play with that day.
Use this as a daily warm-up, a creative reset, or an excuse to draw when you think you “don’t have time.” The goal isn’t the drawing — it’s the act of drawing itself.
